A new OffSite Video Recorder (OVR) - UK Only at present.
The Initsys offsite "virtual" network video recorder is provided as an additional service to the Initsys VerifiedAlarms network. It enables you to install IP-enabled cameras and use analogue cameras through a video server or backup your onsite recorder. Images are recorded in the OVR where they can be viewed. You can also GoLive to your cameras and arm/disarm them using a mobile telephone/website/or from Merlin. When armed, you can select to have the alarm sent to your mobile orto an Alarm Receiving Centre.
We offer a straightforward method of charging for this service with a fixed monthly fee per GB of storage required and whether alarms will be sent by SMS and email or passed through to your commercial Alarm Receiving Centre.
Fully compatible with VScript, it allows you to switch remote devices (lights etc), send audio warnings and messages and link to intruder or other alarms.
Live viewing of the camera is protected as you don't need to know (or remember) your login, the service does all that for you. You GoLive by connecting to the server and IT connects to your cameras.
A static IP address on site is not required.
The Initsys OVR is the ideal solution for small shops, small industrial units, clubs, small restaurants and anywhere you don't need long-term high resolution storage.
You can use your own broadband or you can use our new 3DSL Service (UK only) giving up to 1Mb upload and with no traffic limits.
All installed devices are polled ensuring that your system is always fully protected.
