Introduction Emizon 21 is the advanced signalling service designed specifically for today's digital networks. Simple to install as part of your alarm system, Emizon 21 shares the same broadband connection as your office communictions. Not only does this save you the expense of a dedicated line but it also means that your broadband connection is constantly monitored. The second or back-up signalling path uses Vodafone's GPRS network. Because all alarm messages are managed bt the Emizon Service Platform over both fixed and wireless networks, service availability levels of 99.99% or better can be achieved. Network Security Signalling Standards
European standards classify intruder alarm systems into four grades, grade 4 being the highest, based on skills, tools and the determination likely to be used by criminals at each level of risk. The standards that cover the equipment and performance standards are covered under PD6662:2004 & tables 10 and 11 of prEN50131-1:2004.
