Notes are an essential part of any Command and Control (PSIM) or CMS software. They are used to provide additional information of temporary issues and instructions.

Merlin3's new "notes" system allows the creation of unlimited notes files, each note is associated to a keyword.

The notes themselves are created as a text file with HTML capability. This file is saved in the database complete with text, links (hyperlinks to maps, images and external resources).

At any part of Merlin3 you may add a keyword, on meeting a keyword when processing the system will pop up a window with the information.
